I recently photographed Ches for a new creative blog from the Dallas Observer called Profile in Pictures. Here are some of my favorites, as well as some questions that I had him answer.

How many pushups can you do in 60 seconds?

Probably around the same amount as I have done in the last year or so……so around 35ish?

Be honest – do you like Anne Geddes?

I have a love/hate relationship with Anne. I love her art, but I hate her. She stole a lot of my ideas. Of course I’m kidding. I love her and her art! (He really does not)

Who is your favorite band?

Well, generally I usually say U2, becasue they are my all time favorite, but lately I’ve been a super big fan of Arcade Fire. Their concert a couple of weeks ago was about as good as a live music experience can be.

What do you hope to be doing in 10 years?

I really hope I’m running my own design practice, working on residential gardens and smaller scale landscapes. And I’d love to be married with a kid or two by then.

My roommate and I were eating lunch at Who’s Who Burger recently, when we met Richard. He was wearing a bow tie and seersucker, and we could have guessed he was affiliated with Ralph Lauren. He works for Rugby. I knew I needed to capture his style. Despite the rain during the shoot, we got a few nice shots.
